Satin Ribbon Rose

Satin Ribbon Rose

February 16, 2009

I couldn’t wait to try out this embroidered Satin Ribbon Rose on paper that I saw on TV the other night. It’s also known as the Spiderweb Rose that you see often on pillows and sweaters. I’m not in love with this LO but I have a hard time creating LO’s without a specific pic in mind. And since our little girl won’t be here until April… well this is what I came up with. Also… I am not a fan of using all one line on a project but in this case almost everything is SU. I think the Storybook font is the highlight of this LO for me.

You did a great job on your rose and rosebuds. They look very nice! Thank you for sharing this. I had seen this a long time ago but had forgotten and I also would not have thought to use it on a card, etc., only garments or fabric pieces.
