Organized Closet Disorder!

Although I had all my boys outfits sorted and labeled in bins, I missed out on a couple of really cute outfits because clothes always run bigger/smaller than labeled. I knew I needed to sort her clothes a bit better and out so I can keep an eye on cute dresses, jumpers and other fun outfits.

The base of these are wooden door hangers, bought at M’s for $.89 each that I painted white.
Cricut Carts: George, Alphalicious & Storybook – Used DS to create the mat.
CB Embossing Folders: Borders Frills, Love Language & Swiss Dots
Punches: SU, MS & EK Success

I took the rod off and slid the dividers on. No screws, no hard labor just lift and slide – easy peasy.

Hi there — These are great! Did you cut a slit at the top to put them on the closet dowel or did you take the whole dowel off to get them on? I am definitely thinking of making some for my sister and a few friends!

I took the rod off. I had to remove all the clothes to sort them anyway so it was easy. I think these will make great gifts! I plan to make a few too in hopes to sell. (as long as you know the recipient has a wooden rod in the child’s closet and isn’t using the wire closet organizers). I would recommend mirroring the sizes on the reverse side so you can see from both angles. If I could do it over, that’s one thing I would do different. Come back and share a link to your project… I would love to see.

You are sooo crazy but amazing. I love them.

And 2cm. I cannot wait. You had better call me on my cell phone and let me know you are at the hospital.

Super cute – love the letters & numbers from SB. I’m working on a PJ Party theme for my DD and thought about having the girls decorate door hangers. What size did you use for the door hanger overlay?

I created a .cut in CDS. If you want the file, just let me know.

Shannon, this is too adorable for words. What a very lucky little lady to have such a talented mommy! Now can you come organize my closet?

Hi Shannon! I thought you had sent me this cut file already, but I can’t find it! I want to make for my GF who is expecting in May. Thanks

this is such a good idea-very original and clever at the same time.
I have a couple ladies at church that are expecting and I’d love to gift these to them.
Could you please share the cut file with me.
Thanks,

Teresa

Thanks… it’s such a fun project. I wish I had more (friends/family) with babies on the way so I could make more! I’ve sent you the file. Let me know if you have any questions.

I just found your blog and it is awesome. I was searching for homemade closet dividers, and yours are the cutest! Would you mind sending me the file? Can’t wait to make my own!
